?But that time in my life ? those years in the ?90s recovering ? actually chiseled me into a person,? he wrote. ?It gave me the resolve and a resilience to persevere in life. If I hadn?t gone through that period, I don?t know if I?d still be acting. In the end, it taught me humility. I really learned to appreciate what I have in this life.?

Britney's Promo Tour Begins Tonight in Las Vegas
Earlier this month we learned from our dear Britney Spears herself that she is planning to go on tour this Summer in support of her new album Femme Fatale which hits stores on Tuesday. Today we are hearing a new rumor that claims that Britney will co-headline her tour with another big name act. But, until that rumor is confirmed we can content ourselves with a more immediate live performance by Britney. Last night, Brit and her crew were spotted at LAX Airport making her way to Las Vegas where she will reportedly perform tonight.
Britney Spears has been causing near heart attacks for weeks as fans in the Bay Area tried to figure out exact details about her Good Morning America performance in the Castro. Between yesterday?s sudden venue change and this morning?s ticket frenzy, the highly anticipated show has proved frustrating for many fans. If you weren?t able to get your hands on tickets for this Sunday?s GMA show, we?ve got some good news. Sources are telling us that Spears has scheduled additional tour dates! Sources say that Britney has already scheduled tour dates in support of her album Femme Fatale. The exact dates have not been released, but according to a recent radio interview, Spears confirmed the tour is set to kickoff in early summer. All the info is expected to be announced very soon. We?ll have the details for you first, as soon as it is released.
I?m not sure I believe this rumor about a co-headlining tour but ? I wouldn?t be all that surprised if it turns out to be true. A co-headlining tour with another big act would surely sell tickets but if I had my way, I wouldn?t want Britney to share the spotlight with anyone else. She is more than capable of touring on her own. That being said, if Britney teamed up with someone like Kylie Minogue, well, I think I?d be ok with that ;) What do y?all think of this co-headlining tour rumor? Aspiring actress Kristin Cavallari, who found fame as a rich teen on MTV reality show Laguna Beach, made waves in Miami Beach with her turquoise bikini.
The 21-year-old blonde joined a host of celebrities in the popular Florida holiday spot to enjoy the many New Year's Eve parties at the resort.
The single star welcomed in 2009 with a gaggle of girlfriends in the sunny resort.
In preparation for her night on the town, Kristin spent the last day of 2008 soaking up the rays to top her tan.

Apparently unaware that the stars are unmarried, the doctor said: "Mrs. Angelina Jolie and her husband, Mr. Brad Pitt, told me to tell you that she is doing absolutely fine."
The doctor said she would remain in the seaside hospital until the babies are delivered.
"I can't give you a date," he said, adding that Jolie's hospital visit was scheduled.
French medical secrecy laws are very strict, but Sussmann was able to say that four rooms and a pair of security guards had been set aside for the couple -- debunking rumors that they had taken over th entire fifth floor.
The show will go on
The actors' union and Broadway theater producers reached a tentative agreement on a new contract Wednesday, averting the possibility of a strike such as the one that shut down Broadway for almost three weeks in November.
The contract, which expires in September 2011, would increase the compensation package for actors by 11.25%
The contract must be reviewed by the Actors' Equity Association's governing body. If it is approved, it would be sent to members for a vote, which could take several weeks.

During a recent interview, Dolly Parton spoke up about losing old recordings and footage from early on in her career.
Here's what she had to say about it:
"Actually I have lost a lot of my early footage? and a lot of the songs that I had written, because I started writing songs when I was a child. I used the old Wollensak tape recorder, the reel to reel, and it started to die away and I didn't realize that was going to happen."
"A few years ago I had to have people come in and try to save as much of it as they could. We lost a few things. That's a bad thing."
We're sorry to hear that, Dolly.
Keep your chin up, though! You've still got many, many years to add LOTS of wonderful new material to that footage collection of yours!

Adele recently had nothing but love for Rihanna and her music, and went as far to say that she felt "possessed" by the pop star while listening to her latest album, Loud, over the Christmas holiday! She then goes on to also justifiably praise Mumford & Sons for helping her get through a tough break-up!
"Over New Year's and Christmas, I had time off and I went to all my friends' parties singing it. Doing the dance moves, I was convinced I was Rihanna. She was possessing me with that song ['What's My Name?'], I swear. I fucking love Mumford & Sons. This song ['After the Storm'] is so beautiful, it kind of makes me cry and smile at the same time. Things are getting pret-ty serious between Christina Aguilera and her boyfriend Matthew Rutler!
The couple recently flew to visit his parents in his hometown Newport, Rhode Island, but the star traded in his parents two-floor apartment for the top floor at the luxurious Hyatt Regency!

Can't blame a guy for trying!
Lately, we've been very pleased with how mature David Arquette and Courteney Cox have been acting during this period of uncertainty in their relationship.
We were especially pleased to hear that they teamed up and took their daughter Coco on a Disney vacation last week.
Now, we're hearing that David tried to pull the moves with Courteney during that vacation, but apparently it didn't go exactly as planned.
Here's what David had to say about it during a recent interview with Howard Stern:
"Listen, I tried to f*** her, and she doesn't even want me. Oh, that's probably something I shouldn't have said."
"I mean, I love her. I love her with all my heart."
And here's what David had to say when asked if they kissed on the vacation:
"A little bit. It was like we were?eighth graders. Seventh graders."
How sweet! You should consider yourself lucky that you got anything, David. That's progress!

Truly unbelievable, and most importantly, WRONG.
Now that Ricky Martin has come out as a proud gay man, Cardinal Luis Aponte Martinez of San Juan Puerto Rico, has condemned the pop star and begged him to stop 'promoting' his homosexuality - all for the sake of his children!
?Personally, I admire Ricky for the great artistic gifts the Lord has endowed him, but please, for the love of his children, for whom I imagine he wants the best, try to set an example to our youth of the great values we all share, besides sex. The Roman Catholic church does not reject the homosexual [but] their immoral actions and behaviors, and trying to promote homosexuality or sexual promiscuity among our youth, indeed, is immoral regardless of where it comes from.?
Ugh. We wonder if he even realizes how deeply hurtful those comments must be.
Homosexuality and promiscuity DO NOT come hand in hand, and the fact that he would even suggest that him being a brave, open man unafraid to be honest about sexual preference is damaging to his CHILDREN, whom we're sure he would put everything aside in order to protect, is just shameful.
If anything, he's teaching his kids to accept and love all parts of yourself, which is something we thought that Roman Catholic Church ALSO teaches!
We think gay rights activist Pedro Julio Serrano said it best when he responded to the criticism with the following:
?Homophobia disguised as religion and under the pretext of freedom of speech is still homophobia and it kills. Enough of wanting to impose a moral vision of human sexuality. Sexual orientation is an innate characteristic of the human condition that cannot be changed, it is not a behavior, it is not a disease, and it is not synonymous with promiscuity as argued by Cardinal Aponte Martinez.?
Well said!
The Cardinal should be ASHAMED of himself, and we hope he seriously re-evaluates the kind of message he's trying to promote to families who may not have a 'traditional' background!
And, as for Ricky, we hope that he continues to do exactly what he's doing, because he is, and continues to be, an inspiration for many!

Adele recently had nothing but love for Rihanna and her music, and went as far to say that she felt "possessed" by the pop star while listening to her latest album, Loud, over the Christmas holiday! She then goes on to also justifiably praise Mumford & Sons for helping her get through a tough break-up!
"Over New Year's and Christmas, I had time off and I went to all my friends' parties singing it. Doing the dance moves, I was convinced I was Rihanna. She was possessing me with that song ['What's My Name?'], I swear. I fucking love Mumford & Sons. This song ['After the Storm'] is so beautiful, it kind of makes me cry and smile at the same time. Sigh No More was [my ex's and my] record. We blossomed to that record and we died to that record. Whenever I put it on, I want to write about my ex. I don't think my album would be here yet if it hadn't been for that record. I'd still be home drunk in the dark moping around my flat."

Lately, we've been very pleased with how mature David Arquette and Courteney Cox have been acting during this period of uncertainty in their relationship.
We were especially pleased to hear that they teamed up and took their daughter Coco on a Disney vacation last week.
Now, we're hearing that David tried to pull the moves with Courteney during that vacation, but apparently it didn't go exactly as planned.
Here's what David had to say about it during a recent interview with Howard Stern:
"Listen, I tried to f*** her, and she doesn't even want me. Oh, that's probably something I shouldn't have said."
"I mean, I love her. I love her with all my heart."
And here's what David had to say when asked if they kissed on the vacation:
"A little bit. It was like we were?eighth graders. Seventh graders."
How sweet! You should consider yourself lucky that you got anything, David. That's progress!
Might want to be careful not to get into your old ways though. We KNOW you like talking to Howard about your personal life, but things are going well with Courteney and we've been very impressed with your behavior. Don't push your luck!

Now that Ricky Martin has come out as a proud gay man, Cardinal Luis Aponte Martinez of San Juan Puerto Rico, has condemned the pop star and begged him to stop 'promoting' his homosexuality - all for the sake of his children!
?Personally, I admire Ricky for the great artistic gifts the Lord has endowed him, but please, for the love of his children, for whom I imagine he wants the best, try to set an example to our youth of the great values we all share, besides sex. The Roman Catholic church does not reject the homosexual [but] their immoral actions and behaviors, and trying to promote homosexuality or sexual promiscuity among our youth, indeed, is immoral regardless of where it comes from.?
Ugh. We wonder if he even realizes how deeply hurtful those comments must be.
Homosexuality and promiscuity DO NOT come hand in hand, and the fact that he would even suggest that him being a brave, open man unafraid to be honest about sexual preference is damaging to his CHILDREN, whom we're sure he would put everything aside in order to protect, is just shameful.
If anything, he's teaching his kids to accept and love all parts of yourself, which is something we thought that Roman Catholic Church ALSO teaches!
We think gay rights activist Pedro Julio Serrano said it best when he responded to the criticism with the following:
?Homophobia disguised as religion and under the pretext of freedom of speech is still homophobia and it kills. Enough of wanting to impose a moral vision of human sexuality. Sexual orientation is an innate characteristic of the human condition that cannot be changed, it is not a behavior, it is not a disease, and it is not synonymous with promiscuity as argued by Cardinal Aponte Martinez.?
Well said!
The Cardinal should be ASHAMED of himself, and we hope he seriously re-evaluates the kind of message he's trying to promote to families who may not have a 'traditional' background!
And, as for Ricky, we hope that he continues to do exactly what he's doing, because he is, and continues to be, an inspiration for many!
