Serena Williams was allegedly stalked by one heck of a creepy guy. So creepy, that in a stalk-off competition, I think he would take home some kind of scary trophy.
We pretty regularly hear about celebrities being ?stalked,? but it usually involves an overzealous fan who shows up outside of their house a time or two. Sometimes these celeb creepers follow the stars home from book signings and just won?t take a hint. Protective orders are granted, and sometimes they end up arrested.
Then there are cases like this one, which take the whole thing to the next level.
Police say a forty-year-old dude named Patenema Ouedraogo?who looks about as stalker-ish as can be?used Twitter to follow the movements of Serena Williams. He was so infatuated with her that the tennis star?s security people knew exactly who he was.
This weirdo was even caught with a letter professing his love for her, which by the way insisted that she loved him too. Can we say whack-job?
Anyway, Serena apparently already had a temporary protective order out against the guy, but he was never actually tracked down to be served.
I?m guessing it?s because he was always on the move following her.
This time though he did himself in. Reports claim that this genius simply tried to walk right up to her Florida home, but was thwarted by security. Obviously they nabbed him based on the previous incidents, and possibly because of the lingering order.
There were several incidents before this one, but the wildest thing he did was attempt to make his way into her dressing room by posing as her ?assistant? at HSN headquarters.
I don?t mean to get personal, but doesn?t his mug shot have stalker written all over it? I wonder if he?ll be convicted. If not, keep an eye out ladies?
