General Hospital?s Bob Guza Jr Out As Head Writer?

OMG I really hope all the rumors the General Hospital?s head writer Bob Guza, Jr is out as head writer is nothing but a hoax. This could be disastrous news for GH fans if the man that has penned the show for over a decade really is leaving.

General Hospital s Bradford Anderson

As a huge fan of the ABC soap opera General Hospital I can attest that head writer Bob Guza, Jr is so unbelievably talented. If he is in fact no longer going to be writing the hit show it makes me nervous about the future of my favorite soap opera. The acting on the show is outstanding there is no doubt about that. However it is the amazing writing that gives the actors such great material to work with and that is thanks to Bob.

I realize I am just a loyal viewer but I have to wonder what the heck is going on over at GH. How can it be that the man who brought us such amazing stories as The Metro Court Hostage Crisis, The Train Crash, The Masquerade Ball at Windermere and crazy Franco could no longer be a part of the show? I was an avid watcher of GH back in the 80?s as a kid then sort of dropped it in the 90?s cause it was kind of blah but then in about 2005 my mom got me hooked again. I attribute it to the great story lines, well that and the super hot guys like Steve Burton and Maurice Bernard.

Like I said there is a lot of speculation that Guza is dunzo at the show, it was first reported by Soap Opera Digest. Don?t expect to get a straight answer from ABC at this time though as they have given the standard ?no comment? on what is becoming a very hot topic in the daytime world. However literally minutes ago a GH rep said the Bob is not going anywhere, so who the heck knows what is going on.

I think I have made it pretty clear that losing Bob would be a huge mistake for GH but it isn?t really up to me now is it. I will of course still watch Luke and the rest of the residents of Port Charles even if the rumor does prove to be fact but I have my concerns that the show I have grown to love will just not be the same. That is my two cents now all you GH fans or non-fans give me yours.
